Mandy Patinkin


Mandel Bruce Mandy Patinkin is an American actor, tenor, voice artist, and comedian.

Patinkin was born Mandel Bruce Patinkin in Chicago, Illinois, on November 30, 1952, the son of Doris Doralee , a homemaker, and Lester Patinkin, who operated two large Chicagoarea metal factories, the Peoples Iron amp Metal Company and the Scrap Corporation of America. His mother wrote Grandma Doralee Patinkins Jewish Family Cookbook. Patinkins cousins include Mark Patinkin, an author and nationally syndicated columnist for The Providence Journal Sheldon Patinkin of Columbia College Chicagos Theater Department, a founder of The Second City and Bonnie Miller Rubin, a Chicago Tribune reporter.
